Modular Classrooms New Zealand — Ministry of Education Compliant
EcoPrestige supplies modular classrooms New Zealand schools, boards of trustees, head contractors and Ministry of Education-appointed builders can procure with confidence — engineered to Designing Quality Learning Spaces (DQLS) specifications, NZS 1170.5 seismic, NZS 3604 timber-frame interfaces, and full producer statement coverage.
What MoE buyers actually need
The Ministry of Education operates a pre-approved Off-site Manufacturing (OSM) supplier panel. Where your project isn’t going through the panel — board-funded extensions, property portfolio maintenance, short-term roll growth response, or private school procurement — you need a modular classroom supplier that can deliver against DQLS without the overhead of being on the national panel. That is where EcoPrestige supplies.
DQLS alignment (core specifications)
- Teaching space areas aligned with DQLS prototype plans
- Acoustic separation and reverberation control (acoustic class per MoE brief)
- Daylight and glare control (window-wall ratio and shading)
- Natural and mechanical ventilation per DQLS
- Heating and thermal performance (NZBC H1 and MoE thermal brief)
- Universal access and accessibility (NZBC D1, Barrier Free)
- Flexible learning configurations — breakout, collaboration, direct instruction zones
- Durability (50-year minimum for primary structure, per MoE brief)
Engineering and compliance evidence
- NZS 1170.5 seismic — site-specific spectrum from your NZ-registered structural engineer

- PS1 design producer statement from a NZ CPEng structural engineer
- NZBC compliance pathways documented across Clauses B1, B2, C, D, E2, F2, G4, G6, H1, H3

Procurement pathways
EcoPrestige is a builder-facing modular systems supplier. The most common procurement route is: you (head contractor, property manager, or board) contract a NZ-registered builder as head contractor; the builder procures modules from EcoPrestige under their delivery contract. EcoPrestige supplies modules; the builder handles site, services, consenting and handover.
Delivery across NZ
Modules are shipped to Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington (CentrePort), Lyttelton or Otago Port, then trucked to site. Typical lead time 14-20 weeks from approved shop drawings.
